Stephanie Bolte-Yatsko
A West Virginia native, Stephanie attended high school in Clarksburg. After completing high school, she attended West Virginia University where she graduated with a degree in Animal Science and English.
Stephanie has an extensive background in the pet care field. She is a certified veterinary practice manager, a master groomer, and an obedience instructor. As a Pet Medical Center of Springfield employee, she has worked as a receptionist and is presently employed as a full-time veterinary assistant.
Stephanie left us for several years due to her husband Ted's job transfer, but has recently returned to reside in LaPlata, Maryland. We hope she can put up with the drive, as she is an asset to the practice. Along with her husband Ted, Stephanie lives with two cats and six dogs, including a champion breeding pair of German Shorthaired Pointers.
David Guthrie
A Lake Braddock High School Alumni, David is presently a student at Northern Virginia Community College.
Previous to his arrival at Pet Medical Center of Springfield, David worked as a veterinary assistant at a local cat practice as well as 2 other animal hospitals. David is a member of the veterinary technicians and assistants team.
David's hobbies include weight lifting and most outdoor sports. At home, he enjoys the company of his 4 cats (Kodiak, Guy, Little and Umpus) and his gecko named Bonzai.
Rick Garlick
Rick has been with Pet Medical Center of Springfield since 1996 and started out as a veterinary assistant while attending high school at Randolph Macon Military Academy. Since high school graduation, Rick has continued to work regularly while balancing a full class schedule at Northern Virginia Community College.
Even with his busy school and work schedules, Rick still finds time for hobbies. He enjoys boating, fishing and all outdoor activities.
Rick is currently studying Administration of Justice and aspires to be a local police officer. He lives with his family in Mason Neck.
Rusty Fewell
Native to the area, Rusty attended Manassas Park High School. Following high school graduation, he was admitted to the University of Virginia where he was awarded a BA Degree in Dramatic Arts.
Previous to his arrival at Pet Medical Center of Springfield, Rusty worked as a veterinary technician at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. During the course of his employment at A.M.C., he was selected as technician of the month.
Interested in church activities, Rusty volunteers his services as a youth advisor. He also spends leisure time rollerblading, reading, watching movies and participating in community theatre. At home he is accompanied by his 2 dogs, Eli and Emmy, and his cat named Elliot.
